MSA is a very isolating disease to patients and caregivers. Due to being a rare disease there was not a lot of information or support when my mom was first diagnosed. Connecting with the MSA United charities helped us not feel so alone. We obtained a lot of information on clinical trials and a sense of community through the work the charity does.
